Reservations Agent
SUMMARY
This position is crucial to the success of our sales team, and is responsible for creating an outstanding first impression of our company. You will personally be helping customers find and have the Ultimate Vacation Experience. It is important to provide a positive image of Canadian Vacation Homes from the start by greeting the guest over the phone and qualifying the guest’s needs for their next vacation property.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for handling incoming calls to the reservations department in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner. The primary task will be to provide guidance and knowledge to all of our customers looking for the perfect vacation property.
- Responsible for keeping accurate records of phone conversations with each guest, following the outlined booking procedure and keeping accurate records of all paperwork.
- You will have the opportunity to learn and sometimes visit our destinations which include all BC Ski Resorts, top resorts in the Okanagan, American ski resorts, and hot holiday locations such as South Carolina and Florida.
- All other specific tasks will be assigned as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school graduate. Reservations and sales experience helpful. Must have good customer service, communications skills, and attention to detail.
